At the centre of the community is the village hall (pictured below) which was formerly an old Church School built in the 1800s and renovated in 1990s to meet the required present day standards.
The hall is run by the Village Hall Management Committee and is used by the community for social events such as the annual village BBQ, Bingo and Quiz nights, etc. A variety of organisations also use the hall both from within the village and wider community, The hall can be hired for functions and parties. As well as having a spacious car park the hall also provides good kitchen facilities which are listed below.
